So im gonna build a new rig as soon as i get money in.

Its going to cost about 800 dollars to finish getting what i need.

GTX260 (Gigabyte) (199.99)
www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125294

Mushkin Enhanced Black Line x2 (2X2GB) 1600 MHz (199.98)
www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146871

Evga P55 SLI Mobo (199.99)
www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813188055

Inel Core I5-750 2.66GHz (199.99)
www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115215

Does anyone know if its possible for me to use my 9500 for dedicated PhysX?
thats the only reason im getting the SLI edition if i cannot use my old card for physx ill save myself 30 bucks and just get the LE edition.

Is there something particular about that motherboard you want? I'd spend less there an put the money toward a Radeon 5850 www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?...oreType=&srchInDesc= It will smoke that GTX260. By-the-way that memory is $99, not $199

i know im getting 2 sets of the memory.

And the reason im getting that mobo is because im wanting to get into overclocking and that board supports really high voltages and 12+2 phase power, will give me cleaner more stable results. And it has onboard adjustable voltage changers.

as for the video card i dont need that much power i dont play any real intense games the 260 can run crysis beatifully on a 20 inch monitor and thats all i really need. but i may consider it for the dx11 support and stuff.

you really wont need that amount of memory, and you will have trouble pushing the overclocks as high when you fill in all four slots. I would also recommend the 5850 as it is a much better card. In the end you will notice more of an improvement in gaming with a better video card than an overclock on your cpu. If your set on going the nvidia route you should also consider the 275, but the ATI stuff is still much better right now

The whole timing thing makes such a small difference that you would never notice it. I've seen benchmarks where there was only a couple frames increase.

this is why i like mushkin, they not only support overclocking. They also will help you get the peak performance.

There are other companys who will do this, but they are few and far between... Also they along with patriot and crucial are based here in the states.

Yeah it looks nice plus with the DX11 support and all that, and it will still be able to max out all the games i play at a decent resolution. so perhaps the 5850 then.
