using 4TB hard drives you could have 88 Terabytes of storage in a build with that. Without using any external cards

But really, how many cases could you come close to using all 22 ports?

Actually Wes, Western Digital said they might be rolling out 60tb HDDs by 2016.

3x IcyDock HDD cages + standard 4 racks. There, I just used 22 slots. Granted the highest you are going to get on a 2.5 drive is 2TB and one of those 18 is going to be an SSD.
