Good article to read, however for 5-6.00 dollars as it says I'll gladly leave the router plugged in and powered all the time as it is now. On the horizon seems to be a mandate for more efficient ones in the future. However, from Trend you can get Uber nice ones now that are very easy on power. What's all the fuss? 1 Billion on the power grid and 3 power plants just to run these things? Seems perhaps a little inflated on the country's power grid. Read and decide what you think! :blink:

It is always good to pursue greater efficiency. That said, the cost of living the life you want is a larger driver of consumer behavior than any sort of news based cheerleading. Electricity is still very cheap. Frankly, gasoline is very cheap. Until the cost of using them forces people to take efficiency more seriously, the way they are is not that bad.
