Just like the keyboard post, I'm curious what everyone is using for their mice. Post up a picture (pictures of how it sits now are even better) and tell us what you like and dislike about it.

My day to day mouse on my main PC is the Steel Series Sensei.

I love the shape, layout, and the simplicity of it.

I Don't like that the finish+oilyhands+cats means I have to clean off weird finger outlines in cat hair all of the time.

I was in love with this thing from the second I saw teaser pics of it. That was back before D3 released, maybe even before it had an official release date. The design is just so elegantly simple and pays tribute to a series that was really influential to my gaming at the time, despite the latest lack luster addition. Its essentially a Sensei RAW, which is just an awesome mouse design.

I use a Cyborg R.A.T 7. In my opinion, you will not find a more customizable mouse on the market. It looks awesome, I mean look at it, it looks like a freaking Transformer or something! Its a shame the sensor can be a little unreliable at times.

I've finally switched over from my Logitech G5, to the G500. I've been a user of this style of mouse for almost 8 years, and thinking about that makes me feel really old. :P I can't get away from it. I've tried other mice, but they have all resulted in frustration.

Something I dislike is how the braided cable fad prevents my ancient XTrac mouse cable holder from holding cables as well as it used to. It was $8, and I refuse to spend more money on something newer (looking at you, RAZER, etc.). I also don't really use the third thumb button. It would be the perfect mouse if it just had a forward & back button.

Now I don't have to take a picture of mine. LOL that is the same mouse I use on my gaming system. I have used logitech mice for over 10 years, I really haven't found anything better that fit my hand. My blue cube has my G5 mouse on the desktop and I use Revolution wireless keyboard and mouse set when I am on the couch using the projector to game.

Thank you guys for the posts so far. I'm still very interested in seeing more. It helps me understand what everyone likes in their mouse and what to look for as fas as issues on future reviews.

So there!!! I took a picture of my G500! I like the way it fits in my hand. I like the thumb buttons that can be used for "forward" and "back" buttons when browsing the web. I have the 3rd thumb button set for PTT on Vent.

Here is what I dont like. They seem to have a short life span for me. This is the 2nd one I've had. The main button seems to wear out. I eventually have to press very far out to the tip of the mouse to get it to click.

The other problem I have with this mouse is in the cord. After usage, it seems to fray.

My other one had a problem where it would cut in and out randomly.

When I have to replace this one... Ill probably look at one of the SteelSeries mice. They seem to remind me of my first optical mouse, the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0

So, coincidence, my mouse actually just died tonight. :( For the moment I'm using the Naga Hex, despite some very, very infuriating driver installation experiences.

I keeping wanting to find one of those because it is green, but I don't want to pay the $100+ for it. hehe

I'd let it go cheap. Especially after the driver software rubbed me the wrong way.

I get what they're trying to do. And in a way it's neat. But it really should be an optional feature.

Keeping more to the topic though, I splurged today when I found a Sensei at the local Best Buy. Plug and play picked right up on the SteelSeries engine.
