Sceptre X22WG-1080P LCD Issues in Windows 7

I dont know if anyone here has this model LCD (mine's a few years old and I got it fairly cheap). This evening I moved mine to my living room setup and experiencing some issues that I then spent 2 hours tracking down. Frustrates the hell out of me when manufacturers make it difficult to find the solution. Part of the fun though!

I had similar problems when I tried to hook my laptop up to my HDTV, but honestly wasnt interested enough at the time in trying to solve the problem. Come to think of it, I dont even remember WHY I wanted to hook it up in the first place.
