Need Hard Drive Advice was created by Jinjo
I am currently upgrading and updating a PC I have. Where can I find the best deals for internal hard drives, looking for 500GB to 1TB. Also does anyone know where to find the cheaper price for Windows 7 as well.
Thanks,

Thanks, I have been looking at newegg.com, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a better deal elsewhere.

Best Buy is the best price for HDD right now.

$139 for a 1TB Seagate 7200rpm HDD.
$149 for a 1TB WD Caviar Black 7200rpm HDD

I haven't seen anything cheaper than that.

I was talking with JinJoA and i think he's going to hold off on the big HD. I think his next purchase to upgrade should be a video card, he's running at 128MB card that came with the non-gaming PC he bought from the store...

Would anyone have a smaller 250-500 GB drive they're looking to sell for around $20? He's not really needing the large amounts of space (for downloads or videos), I think he just needs enough to install some games. Although i'm trying to get him to give up WoW, which would save him some HD space. :P

Yep, added it to my cart and it's $179.99. Not sure what's going on, lol.

That is weird, even the link that you posted comes up as $179.99.

Oh well.

I know Renegade had some smaller HDD's for sale at the Nexus LAN, not sure if he still has them.
