IU gaming lan wars... was created by Plague

So Shocka brought it to my attention that IU LAN WARS XX is coming up in March.

I know they haven't got their post put up yet here, but I would like to know if we want to get a team or at least have a group that is going to that LAN. I don't like their setup for dealing with people that don't come as a team, but no big deal. I know last time I got in with the other LANOC guys for L4D2 and that was a blast.

So we do have people that are thinking about going and would want to group up for the team games?

I so wanna go! I LOVE IU!!! when can we start signing up, what's the cost. I know they had a nice copy and paste for all the local LAN communities to save time searching through their site for info!

www.iugaming.com/ is all I have and signup is open now for those willing to front the $15 registration fee. I have registered because I want to know if there was interest here so I had a possible group/team for the games.

I am in for sure. I would watch the forums. Usually they put up a thread of who wants to sit together aka groups. I'll make a list of who all is in and talk to Kool from IU and let him know. I'll also post in their forums that we all what to sit together.

cool with this many people already saying they are going, I will register next week when I get paid.

so what games are people interested in? I know I own all of them except for Starcraft II... And I would like to play them all if they have tournuments for them. I figure every else would too.

PLEASE GET THERE EARLY

Don't come late, do what you have to, to get there on time. It's a PITA to save seats for people once you get in. If we sit in the back by the door that is the best spot. If you need to leave, there's the door, plus the isle is open too.

We will set a time and we need to meet at that time. I will try my hardest to save seats but it's not easy.

I blame Shocka on getting him and Plague there late, lol.

Oh, this time If I have to up and gone back 6am to make I will. not dealing with the latest that happened last time. hehe Also, anyone that is thinking about coming and would be going through the Columbus, OH area, I can take 2 or 3 people in my van. Just a thought.

I'll be headed through New CAstle/Indy the night before, so it won't be a terrible drive in the morning. you know i'm usually there early because i can't sleep i get soo excited!!!

IU LAN is SOLD OUT!
50 seats went in the last 24 hours!

I posted our LanOC crew over on their forums. If we want a good seat we need to be there about 45 min early. I will grab the first spot if need be. Just let me know. I am going to get the table by the back door so we can get in and out easily.

So here's the update for this weekend.

If you are going then you need to be there at 10:30am SHARP! DO NOT COME LATE!!!

This is key, cause we all have to be there to get in on the group seating. I am going to get there around 10:15 so we can get a good spot.

Other than that i'm going to bring some snacks but i'll go out for dinner/lunch whenever I get hungry. Probably going to go to Qdoba cause it's close and I know where it is.

Again, DO NOT BE LATE. Plauge and Shocka were late last year and they didn't get to sit with us, until people started leaving late in the evening.
