Xilence 120mm Red Wing Fan

If it is one thing that I’ve learned in the past 10 months of reviewing is to not count a company out just because you haven’t heard of them. New or relatively unknown companies have surprised me countless times and I think I have finally learned my lesson. Today we are going to look at a 120mm fan from Xilence. Xilence may not be a huge name in the industry, but they have been around since 2003. There range of products consists of cases, power supply units, case fans, notebook coolers, and a wide range of heatsinks. Expect to see more of their products on here in the near future.

Noctua NF-B9 92mm Fan

When we realized we would be doing a test on the Thermaltake HR-03 GT GPU heatsink we were very exited until we realized we didn’t have a 92mm fan to fit it. After a few emails Noctua was kind enough to send out one of their NF-B9’s. After finishing up testing on the NF-P12 120mm fan I already had high hopes for this 92mm. Noctua NF-P12

Noctua is a company known for producing high quality fans and heatsinks for pc’s. I will forgive you if I haven’t heard of them. Frankly they are only known in the states by enthusiasts who are interested in quiet but good flowing fans mostly. They are proud to be from Austria. They have shipped one of their 120mm fans for testing. We are going to see if it will help cool down the beastly quad core and see how it compares to a few other fans with sound. Click to read more
