CoolerMaster Hyper N620 CPU Cooler Review
“With the plethora of good performing tower coolers that are out on the market, how does one set their self’s apart from the rest of the pack? Every fan attached to a heatsink has a dead spot in the center where the fan blades attach to the hub. How do you eliminate or reduce the size of the dead spot? CoolerMaster has the answer with their latest cooler in the Hyper Series: the Hyper N620. CoolerMaster choose a unique design with the cooler that is designed to handle two fans configured in a push/pull configuration that takes the dead spot out of the cooling equation by offsetting the fans from one another. This configuration leads to a quite different shape of the finsink as compared to other tower style coolers.”
Cooler Master Notepal Infinite
There are a lot of things a laptop provides: generally low power consumption, connectivity, and portability to name a few. But when a user takes a laptop beyond spreadsheets and blogging, there are certain areas that are left lacking. Extensive use creates stress on the system and many styles’ neglected ergonomics create stress on the user. Cooler Master has created a solution for both.
Cooler Master Storm Sniper Review at Overclockers Online
After my tour of duty with the CM Storm Sniper case, I’ve come away with
a positive experience overall. From top to bottom the Sniper packs in some
useful features such as the built in fan controller and StormGuard peripheral
retention system. The Storm shows that Cooler Master is listening to gamers and
enthusiasts by including features from past cases that work and giving us new
features that work.

Cosmos S Mods Part 2 – Fan upgrade
This past December I walked everyone through a few small mods that I did to our Cosmos S to help it stand out. The window and lighting really made the case look amazing. I did have some issues with the fans with vibration and overall noise. Infact it got so bad that I had to unplug most of them. Because of that I was on the market for replacement fans. I have reviewed a few fans in the past so my decision was hard, adding to that was the problem of my favorite fans running $20+. When you’re looking at 5 or 6 fans that adds up quickly. In the end, I decided to go with Noctua fans considering the amazing performance of them in the past. After working out a deal with Noctua, the next thing I know I had a box full of fans on my doorstep. Will they be an improvement?
Cooler Master Silent Pro M 500W Power Supply@ Overclockers Online
Cooler Master’s Silent Pro M is quite a different product, I would
not go as far as to say it is unique, but it does target quite a different
audience than the majority of the power supplies we have taken a look at.
The Silent Pro M is definitely not the power supply for multiple graphic
card systems, but for the typical high end system, or even small form factor
media setups, the Silent Pro M is a great choice.
Cooler Master Elite 330 @ Benchmark Reviews
Benchmark Reviews has been on the web for over a year now. In that time I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing some very nice higher end computer items, including mid and full tower cases. While I love the high end market I realize for every high end part sold, there are probably 100’s of mid to lower end parts sold. So who’s buying these parts? Everyone is that’s who. So where do they get their pre purchase information from? Hopefully here at Benchmark Reviews. Cooler Master recognizes there is an audience at this price point and so should we. Today Benchmark Reviews will look at the Cooler Master Elite 330 RC-330-KKN1-GP Chassis. A mid tower computer case that appears to be big on features but small on price.
Coolermaster v10 Launched
Coolermaster has finally launched the long awaited v10. We took a look at it at CES and will be posting up our results from testing soon enough. But for now make sure to check out the launch website. A launch website for a heatsink? you might be asking. Yes, due to the performance and the anticipation the V10 is expected to shake things up a little bit. So for Coolermaster a little celebration is in order.
Coolermaster Hyper N520
With our trip to CES this year I had a rare opportunity to get a closer look at Coolermaster’s current and upcoming heatsinks. They showed off their “Top Dog” the v10 mostly, and because of that coverage and enthusiasm the new Hyper N520 was slightly overshadowed. Targeted at the budget crowd who is looking to get the best performance for their money I don’t expect it to break any records. But we have been surprised before, will the Hyper N520 out perform its competitors?
Coolermaster ATCS 840
Before Coolermaster released the original Stacker case back in 2004 (has it really been 5 years?) they had a line of cases called the ATCS (Advanced Thermal Cooling Solution). ATCS cases where all aluminum cases that at the time was a major change from the steel cases made by many of the other manufactures. With pc case styling going to the bigger is better look, the ATCS’s went away in favor of cases like the Stacker. Recently they went back to their old designs and came up with the idea of bringing the ATCS back, but with updated features to compete with modern cases and a serious focus on making the case simple to use. They called the new case the ATCS 840; the 840 caught my attention as soon as I saw pictures giving me reason to contact Coolermaster about working with them on reviews. Because of that, I now have a chance to check it out, so let’s get to it.
CES 2009 – Coolermaster
Our good friends at Coolermaster decided to forgo the trouble of having a booth at CES this year and instead go all out with a suite in one of Vegas’s famous hotel casinos. The money saved not having a booth they were able to pickup the penthouse suite in the Palms hotel. They invited both my wife Alex and I to their CES party on top of our scheduled meeting.
Cosmos S Mods Part 1
A few of you may have noticed that when I reviewed the Coolermaster Cosmos S a few weeks ago I didn’t use our normal test rig for the testing. I liked the case enough that I decided to move my personal rig over too it. I did have a few complaints about the case and I hope to post a few small updates on here as I work on making the case fit my style. My biggest complaint was the lack of a side window. Coolermaster was kind enough to send a new side panel with a window out to get me started on the updates to this case.’
Coolermaster Cosmos S
When Coolermaster announced their Cosmos chassis around a year or a year and a half ago I was amazed. For the first time I wanted to buy a case the day it came out. I was looking for an upgrade from my Antec SuperLanBoy and the Cosmos 1000 fit the bill, well minus the front door and the lack of a window. When the case came out, I read about lots of problems with heat, considering how much I tend to push the limits with overclocking I decided to pass on the case. Coolermaster realized the problems and set out to perfect the Cosmos chassis. They released the Cosmos S to much fan fare; we now get a chance to take a look ourselves. We are going to find out if the cooling is better and if this really is the perfect gamer case.
