New York, NY – (October 11, 2011) — As an invitation to gamers to challenge F1 racing tracks with total efficiency and realism, Thrustmaster, the innovative PC and console accessory brand is releasing a new racing solution, the Ferrari F1 Wheel Integral T500,a wheel replica of the Ferrari 150° Italia with a pedal set. A long-lasting collaboration between the two brands and their mutual respect for shared values – passion, innovation and quality – explain the genesis of this latest controller released by Thrustmaster under official Ferrari license.

Pure, unrivaled realism:
Compatible with PC and PlayStation®3, the package includes a racing wheel – the life-size replica of the F1 Ferrari 150° Italia –, a powerful base containing the racing wheel' s motor and a pedal set to help you close the fastest laps ever recorded.

Power and precision under the hood:
F1 cars are designed with raw power, and the Ferrari F1 Wheel Integral T500 rises to the challenge with a built-in industrial-class engine (150 mNm torque, 3000 rpm, 65 W, Ø 52) delivering impressive force feedback effects. Its wide internal dual belt combines smoothness and flexibility. The device's built-in H.E.A.R.T HallEffect AccuRate Technology™ offers extreme precision along with a constant, long-lasting 16-bit resolution (65,536 values throughout the wheel' s steering range).

The sophistication of an F1 racing wheel:
The Ferrari F1 Wheel Integral T500 is a replica of the steering wheel found in the Ferrari 150° Italia. Featuring a rubber-textured grip, a life-size diameter and a reinforced scratch-brushed metal face, it breathes racing fierceness. The Thrustmaster Quick Release enables users to remove the racing wheel quickly. The wheel features two rotary encoder knobs that allow users to adjust the car's settings directly during a race, eight dual-detent (8 N pressure) push-buttons, three automatic centering 3-position metal switches (4.5 N pressure), and two 8-directional D-Pads. The Push & Pull F1 shifters, which control sequential gear changes, are made from scratch-brushed metal and are attached to the wheel. In addition, 2 game modes are available: the Normal mode, for PC and PS3™ (with 17 programmable features) and the Advanced mode, for PC (with 29 programmable features).

Efficiency of the pedal set:
The Ferrari F1 Wheel Integral T500 pedal set offers two positions: a suspended position and a floor-mounted position ideally suited to F1 racing. The pedal set is 100% metal, ensuring optimal stability and resistance. All 3 pedals are fully adjustable, while the brake pedal offers a reinforced and adjustable stroke.

The Ferrari F1 Wheel Integral T500 will be available in October at the suggested retail price of $699.99. For more information on the Ferrari F1 Integral T500 or to see the full range of Thrustmaster products, visit www.thrustmaster.com

Wired or wireless which do you prefer? In a perfect world, I prefer the audio quality of a wired headset but the convenience of wireless is worth it. You don’t have your cord getting in the way and you can keep your headset on even when you get up from your PC. Not to mention cord damage is one of...

Last year Crucial impressed with their first PCIe Gen 5 SSD the Crucial T700. Its performance was extremely impressive even when compared to fast PCIe Gen 4 devices. Well here we are at it once again and Crucial is stepping things up again with their latest drive the T705. Like with the T700, the...

It’s kind of crazy to think but the last time I had a Razer desktop microphone in for review was back in 2015 when I took a look at the Razer Seiren Pro . That wasn’t Razer’s first desktop microphone but it was part of their first generation of Seiren microphones and Razer has continued to evolve...

AMD launched, well relaunched their RX 7900 GRE today and I already took a look at the Hellhound that AMD sent over but Sapphire did also send their PURE RX 7900 GRE. I was a huge fan of the PURE the last time so I’m excited to see if their latest version is going to live up to that hype. One...

AMD’s GPU lineup started off with the RX 7900 XT and RX 7900 XTX models on the high end and later they filled in things with the RX 7800 XT and cards below that. But the gap between the RX 7900 XT and RX 7800 XT is a large one, especially with Nvidia having competition there with cards like the...

With the launch of the RTX 4080 SUPER, I took a look at the Founders Edition to check out the performance of Nvidia’s new GPU. The Founders Edition cards however aren’t available from some retailers and you might find yourself looking at other options. Lucky for us Asus sent over their ROG Strix...

With Nvidia’s CES announcements, they announced three different GPUs all with the previously used SUPER designation. I took a look at the RTX 4070 SUPER as well as the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER but the crown jewel in all of this was of course the RTX 4080 SUPER. The RTX 4090 is still the flagship GPU from...

Last year when I took a look at the Sapphire Pulse RX 7600 I was impressed with Sapphire’s design which while not as small as the reference AMD design was still compact where most other aftermarket cards weren’t. That seems to be the same this time around with the launch of the RX 7600 XT and...
