gamingnews2 Wednesday is back again folks. After a week off after having the stomach flu on the way home from the LAN, I am ready to rock. We are having a special event on Friday afternoon. At 1pm EST I will be live on Twitch.tv streaming. Please tune in to get the big news. I still can’t say anything because of the NDA but it’s big and I think everyone will enjoy it. Microsoft Flight is now on the Steam store, Midweek Madness sales are here again, any Star Wars fans out there? The new Star Wars Xbox 360 bundle is out along with Star Wars Kinect and left field at the end. Grab your favorite webcam and let the streaming begin, Gaming News starts...NOW!

Godfrey is a good friend of mine, although its a bummer to loose someone who went to bad for us multiple times at AMD, I can't wait to see what he does next. Watch out!!

Right, hopefully he gets something bigger and better.

Sad that AMD lost a bunch of people. Seems like they have been cleaning house and Godfrey was the last one to leave.

My Econ teacher looked at people loosing their jobs in a really interesting light. He said "You can't think of them loosing their job, it's more their skills and abilities have been released to do something else." It's not a direct Quote, but it's pretty close to the concept

People always think that innovation is bad at workplaces that force workers out of a job, but just think about it from a world knowledge and energy standpoint. By eliminating one factor job, that person can now do something else, they do'nt have to waste their time pushing the button all day long, a robot can do that more quickly and effeciently otherwise that person would still have their job. Sometimes when a person looses their job, the take it as the sign to start their own business and do something they've always wanted to do, but were too scared to leave their "safe" job. Not all things that appear bad are bad.
