It looks like Western Digital has been able to get product started a little quicker than expected. Lets hope this means the worst of the price hikes are behind us. But it will still take a long time for them to get back up and running completely. 

Western Digital, one of the world’s biggest storage companies, said today that it has resumed hard drive production in Thailand as flood waters recede in that country.

Great news. I saw a 1TB Caviar Black 6gbps on Newegg for about $250. You would be stupid as F to buy that. Unless you were a business and needed it or your business would suffer.
