Still needs steam connection to run, right?
I guess it may prevent the 'everyone disconnects and game is lost' stuff.

I've got too many attractive mobas.

Denying and micromanaging a courier is too much effort. The game is too slow.

Disagreed. I think the pace is perfect.

May or may not have that opinion to just nullify yours.

the courier is easy you hit one button and it runs/flys to you. as for denying, it shows which team can control the gold intake of the other team.

It just isn't fun to play, at least for me and I find it tremendously less fun to even watch. I voiced my opinion on this during the International. A team that gets ahead stays ahead, there are no comebacks or swings. Any shift in momentum is solely at the feat of the team with the advantage. Once you have one there is literally no need to press it. The game comes down to one or two champs a side, support is nearly useless. Positioning means all of nothing with an entire team able to teleport to a tower at any given point. All in all it is true to the original DotA in every way, including the flaws.

Most likely will work with Offline mode like most of valves other games now. But even so it would be a huge difference for situations like LANs where the last thing you want to have happen is lag in the middle of tournaments. The lag could be from the internet or even from the online servers as well. LAN play would be more reliable in those situations

I would completely disagree after watching anything beyond the first day of the International. But you are welcome to have your opinion :D

^^^^ This. But in fear of hijacking another yet another thread, I'll leave it at that.
