Updated OP with interest list. Since this seems to be moving forward, I feel I should clarify my goal, so to speak. We all may have played solo/duo queue in the past, but I would imagine it's not often that we have the opportunity to play as a team of five in that scenario. Furthermore, a large amount of luck has to be involved to be able to throw five random people together and succeed against a team that is more than likely an organized five. To an extent, that's part of the frustration of solo/duo queue. I'm not trying to make it to LCS, or be a top-rated ranked five team. I would just like a group of people I know are serious about the game to play ranked with, and to the earlier point, a consistent group that play together and can function as a team.
That being said, what I'm looking for specifically is the ability to communicate effectively. Being able to give and receive criticism in a manner that doesn't piss people off is golden. It's not hard, or impossible. Some people struggle with giving feedback, some people struggle with listening and applying feedback. We need to be able to communicate and look at our gameplay in a non-personal fashion.
That's about it. If you know that you often get upset at losing, this probably isn't for you. It's going to happen, and we'll learn more from our losses than our wins, if we can look at them and learn from them.
If you guys are still in, awesome. I'd be interested in seeing who may be available this week for a quick Normal scrim or two. I'm totally fine with having more than five, as a matter of fact I'd prefer it since things will inevitably come up and someone will not be there. Once we get going and a consistent schedule, we can rotate people in and out if we have more than 5 available on a night. I would happily sit out a game to be able to spectate and analyze without focusing on my own role.
