I am glad to see people liking the new hours! This was the #1 requirement I had when I started looking for a location. Once we see how setup goes etc this time around we will probably change to like 10 am start time, and I hope to increase the player count to 100 the next time around if possible.

Can't wait to for Nov to get here!

If people have suggestions for tournaments post them here or contact Denied on the NeXus LAN forums. I know right now he are looking at 1 RTS, 1-2 FPS, and something else not sure what. If MW3 does indeed had local dedicated servers like they say good possiblity we will go for that one.

Internet will be at a min 30/5 looking to see if I can get a 2nd modem same speeds and do a load balance but dunno about that yet.

I have also talked to Action an he will be working on a seating map so everyone can reserve their seats ahead of time.

I'm really happy the hours were changed around, and once a date is set, i'll be able to figure out if i can make it. Always had fun in the past, it just was never much fun driving home when it was still dark outside because everyone packed up after the 3 am raffle...

Registration for NeXus LAN 9 will open on September 24th.

Registration will be $15.00 per person September 24th thru October 31st, and includes 2 raffle tickets.

On November 1st registration will go to $18.00 per person, and includes 1 raffle ticket. This price is thru Nov 14th.

The price for at the door if we have not sold out before then will be $20.00 and includes 1 raffle ticket.

I'm torn, i think IU Lan is going to be the weekend prior and i don't think i can make both...

We currently have 51 registered for the event of 78 available seats. Prices go up in a week and your raffle tickets are cut in half. Only those registered and paid by Oct 31st will get the $15.00 and 2 raffle tickets!

Im kinda thinking about going, if anyone in fort wayne is going and wants to help with driving and gas please let me know.

Renegade : I'm on the left side of the Alpha table (looking at the map), is there a fair amount of space between the table and the wall? I just wondered, its annoying to have to move when people are leaving and coming to their seats. Also wondering in-case I bring my chair.

We just added an additional tournament that will run all weekend long.

Starcraft II 1 v 1 Head to Head hosted on Systemax Gaming PC's

Systemax's will be bringing 2 of their really nice gaming PC's with them and setting them up in a head to head configuration.

We will be running the SC2 tournament on these's PC's.

So you will sign up, we will post brackets then people just sit down with their opponent that round and play the match. Once eveyone has playered their match we will update brakets for found 2, 3 etc until a winner is declaired.
